Go to the game settings, then go to the controller tab. I set the controller to "builder pro". That worked for me. Be sure to hit apply changes before exiting. Also in game settings, turn up the controller sensitivity for build mode a couple of notches. This helped me build walls faster. Zero Build Game Mode. No Building is now a permanent game mode called Zero Build, which can be played in either Solos, Duos, Trios or Squads. The Zero Build Game Mode can be found in the discovery tab. Zero Build Game Mode has all the same mechanics, with Overshield kept as your first line of defense. And of course, NO BUILDING! And when it comes to endgame, especially top 3, try not to be overly aggressive. Endgame honestly comes down to who can third party the best at the end of the day. If you can help it, let the last two players fight and swoop in once one dies. Chances are they’ll have taken a decent amount of damage so you can easily get the kill.
Nowadays mouse sensors are a lot more advanced. Regardless people have been taking their 800 DPI settings (e.g. 7%), double DPI and halving sens (3.5%) and having good results. Also giving ~8-9 for sense% and either 400 to 800 is a massive range. 800 dpi 8% is equivalent to 16% at 400dpi zengodhelp.
I say if you like playing no build and staying at a distance from players when fighting, controller can be better in some cases. But most of the time especially in close range/build fights Keyboard and mouse is the way to go. I also had like 500 hours with a controller on fortnite and thought of myself to be pretty good at it. 1. thewisebard. • 4 yr. ago. under the new controller aim settings you want to enable advanced settings. from there you can choose to either use the new aim assist settings (which will leave the old ones grayed out as they are now) OR you can choose to enable legacy settings which will gray out all the new settings and you'll gain the old tz8v5.
