Countless units, a wide variety of spells and abilities, and the option to build your own decks, all make for a game sure to entertain, play after play. Summoner Wars (Second Edition) is a fully expandable, tactical dueling card game that features updated versions of beloved factions, along with exciting new factions ready to join the battle.
Revisit the first pages of A Game of Thrones with Taking the Black, the first Chapter Pack in the Westeros cycle for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game. As the Westeros cycle focuses on the first book of George R.R. Martin's epic fantasy saga, Taking the Black introduces such iconic characters as Renly Baratheon, the Hound and Master Luwin.

Firstly, Fealty says "reducemarshal or play" and Blood Orange Grove/Desert Scavenger says "reducemarshal". Since Ambush isn't marshaling or playing the card you are Ambushing in, they cannot reduce the cost to Ambush. Secondly, you cannot use Ambush during the Marshaling phase.

While both titles are made by Fantasy Flight Games / Asmodee, they each have very different models of expansion. Game of Thrones LCG (as the name suggests) is a Living Card Game, meaning every expansion they release has a defined list of new cards, generally sixty cards consistent of three copies of twenty new cards.

GoT is competitive and is more geared towards multiplayer, while LoTR is cooperative and works for 1-2 players (or up to 4 with a second core set). If I had to make the choice, I'd choose LoTR because 1. a cooperative game might go over better with an SO and 2. the game is slightly less complicated than GoT.
I know I am late to this party. I recently acquired a 2nd edition copy. After learning the rules and exploring a 4 player game, I printed a copy of your cards (Linen paper, plasticised core, acrylic finish) and played through the first scenario. Baratheon (Bot) vs. Lannister. Lannister won. What a joy. Thank you so much for providing these ideas.
